Who needs a visa for Germany?
EU citizens and citizens of Iceland, Norway, Great Britain, Liechtenstein and Switzerland do not need a visa for Germany.
As a rule, all other nationalities require a visa. However, for short stays of up to three months, the European Union has lifted the visa requirement for some of these countries, including the USA and many other American countries.

In 2013, it was enacted that in most cases a letter of invitation from the organizer is no longer required when applying for a trade fair visa. If you need an invitation letter for your visa, please contact the inviting exhibitor directly.
